“Upholding the Values of the Kingdom of God”.

COMMISSION 2008::THE LAUNCH

We are moving closer and closer to Commission 2008. It is just 5 months away! Just to get ready for this great moment, a Commission 2008 Launch has been scheduled. This will be on the 24th of August 2008 at All Saints Cathedral Multipurpose hall in Nairobi. The launch shall commence at 2pm and end at 4:30 pm.

We hope to achieve the following objectives during the launch;

  1. Concerted Mobilization: There is need to have concerted efforts in mobilization especially for non-students. We think it is critical that there is critical involvement and presence of churches at Commission 2008. This will entail mobilizing for attendance and prayers.
  2. Synergy: This will be an event for rallying various stakeholders for synergy purposes, in areas of Fund raising and follow-up thereafter.
  3. Profile: It will help Commission gather the outlook it deserves as a major national and regional conference by raising its profile.
The launch will bring together;
  • Commission 2008 Speakers (Plenary and Seminars)
  • Church representatives: 50 Church pastors and youth leaders
  • The Campus based Associates groups
  • All Christian Professional groups
  • Theological Institutions
  • Para-church organizations

As this launch takes place, we would like you to be involved in this work further if you have been, and if you haven’t, take up the call. As you have already noticed, it is a great occasion that you can’t afford to miss. The first step towards involvement is by registration. Register now. Opportunities are up for grabs! There are many other things that you can do to make Commission 2008 a success, including…

  1. Telling a friend about it. This could be in your church, organization, home or anywhere that you meet your friends.
  2. Mobilize prayers within your area of operation for the delegates who will be attending the conference.
  3. Mobilize resources, particularly finances for the conference. The total budget for the conference is Kshs.24 Million. We hope to raise about Kshs.13 Million from the delegates fee. We definitely need to raise the balance (Kshs.11Millions) from friends, partners and goodwill ambassadors. And we believe that you are one of our friends, partners or good will ambassadors.
